This event is organised by the Harrow Nature Forum.  Come and learn about the wonderful world of bats - see and hear these amazing creatures flying around the park!  Led by Simon Braidman, Volunteer Warden at Stanmore Common.  Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  

Venue: Harrow Weald Recreation Ground, HA3 6EL.  Meet at the lychgate (the park gate opposite KFC, situated at the junction of High Road and Boxtree Road).

This event is completely FREE!  ALL WELCOME!

We meet on the first and third Thursday of each month.  On the second Thursday we invite you to bring your own knitting, sewing, pencils and paintbox or other arty, crafty hobby to our friendly and welcoming Craft Club.  If you don't have a hobby, we will provide some activities for you!  VENUE: The Guide HQ Maricas Avenue Harrow Weald HA3 6JA. £4 PP to include refreshments. ALL WELCOME!

This will be our last session for the summer on a Tuesday evening at 7 pm in the Harrow Weald Bowls Club in Harrow Weald Recreation Ground.

PLEASE NOTE: that from  7 OCTOBER we will meet on MONDAY evenings - every two weeks at a NEW VENUE - The War Memorial Hall, High Road, Harrow Weald, HA3 6HE at 7 pm. £10 pp for 10 games plus human bingo!  There’s a pay Bar available and free parking behind the hall.

The book for discussion in September is “The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared', by Jonas Jonasson.  We meet in the Memorial Hall, High Road, Harrow Weald, HA3 6HE (opposite the park and next to KFC, free parking behind the hall) at 2 pm.  £1 nominal entry fee.

Please come along to our MONTHLY Sunday morning gathering in the park. We meet outside the Bowls Club at 10 am for litter picking, gardening and a general tidy up of the park. We can provide gloves, tools and litter pickers if you don’t have your own. Come and join in and make the park a better place!
